Association Members and Incubator Members shall have the right to vote on AABI organizational matters. Supportive Members and Individual Members shall have no right to vote on AABI organizational matters.

Signatories to the AABI Founding Declaration are Founding Members of AABI.

Any organization, association, or individual that carries out activities corresponding with the objective of AABI is eligible to become an AABI member in its relevant category.
a) Association Member
Upon the approval of all the existing members with the voting right at the Annual General Assembly, an association that falls into the category a) of Section 1, Article IV Membership may officially become an Association Member.
b) Incubator Member, Supportive Member, or Individual Member
Upon the approval of one of the AABI Founding Members with the relevant jurisdiction, or by the Secretariat, an organization or individual that falls into the category b), c) or d) of Section 1, Article IV Membership may officially become the relevant member.
When an organization, corporation, or individual from an economy, from which AABI has no current Association Member, applies for an AABI membership other than an Association Membership, the applicant’s membership eligibility must be considered and approved by all the existing members with the voting right at the Annual General Assembly. Such new AABI member, whether Incubator Member, Supportive Member or Individual Member, duly approved at the Annual General Assembly, shall serve as the temporary representative of the corresponding economy
When an appropriate association in the said economy, however, is newly elected Association Member, the current temporary representative shall be replaced by such Association Member, which will become the official representative of the said economy.

AABI members are eligible to enjoy the following benefits:
a) Participate in the exclusive AABI network to exchange information with other AABI members in the fields of regional economic development, business incubation and technology and science parks.
b) Obtain information and participate in events organized by AABI members.
c) Participate in the Annual General Assembly, as well as AABI Awards.
d) Use the association’s information research, referral, documentation and dissemination services upon request (subject to availability).
e) Demonstrate credibility with the AABI Member logo, available for display on member Web sites and printed materials.
f) Apply for AABI Awards and AABI Incubator programs.
Association Members are eligible to enjoy the following exclusive benefits:
a) Vote in AABI elections and run for AABI President or Vice President.
b) Serve on association committees, task forces and awards panels and get an inside look at the incubation industry.
Membership benefits may be altered or amended at AABI Annual General Meetings

All AABI members are required to pay a basic annual membership fee as defined in Article VI. AABI members are requested to actively participate in and support the Annual General Assembly and other events organized by AABI.

AABI membership may be terminated or revoked if a Member:
a) Fails to comply with any provision of the AABI Bylaws,
b) Is unable to continue participation in AABI for any reason,
c) Fails to pay membership fees,
d) Wishes to withdraw,
In addition, an Association Member may have its membership revoked if it fails to dispatch a representative or alternative delegate to four consecutive Annual General Assemblies.
